Fashion Retailer Zara opened it’s flagship store at St. David’s Cardiff shopping Centre in the UK. Spread over 36,500 sq ft and spread over 2 levels, the store features the full range of the cult brand’s womenswear, menswear and kidswear.
Bershka and Stradivarius, sister brands of parent Inditex also share space with Zara at St. David’s which is now open for business post pandemic lockdowns all through the year 2020. Zara has attempted impressive digital interventions including “Automated Collection Point”, self service and dedicated tills or exchange and refunds.
Speaking on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, Russell Loveland, Senior Portfolio Director at Landsec, said: “The launch of ZARA, alongside the other international brands to have recently joined St David’s, points to an exciting future for the destination and emphasises its attraction to leading retailers. St David’s has proven its resilience over the course of the last year, and with the likes of ZARA now open we continue to strengthen its offer.”
Globally, fashion brands are slowly making a comeback across Malls and Shopping Centres even as the world continues to grapple with the dreaded coronavirus pandemic.
