To celebrate the Pride Month, Coffee Club Australia has changed its logo. The move has been well appreciated by its fans and regular customers as well as the international fraternity.
Since opening its doors in Brisbane in 1989, The Coffee Club has become Australia’s largest home-grown café group with approximately 400 stores throughout 9 countries, with upwards of 40 million dedicated customers.
In 1989, Brisbane City, founders Emmanuel Kokoris and Emmanuel Drivas cruised Brisbane late one night in search of a decent coffee, and came up empty handed. This disappointing experience inspired them to seize the opportunity, so they formulated a plan to take the world by storm – a coffee storm – now affectionately known as The Coffee Club.
Minor DKL Food Group is the franchisor and intellectual property owner of The Coffee Club franchise system with close to 450 stores across fourteen countries in the Pacific, Asia and the Middle East, we are the largest Australian café chain and one of the largest in the world.
Minor DKL Food Group is also the owner of Veneziano Coffee Roasters, a leading specialty coffee roasting house supplying wholesale and retail customers throughout Australia from roasting facilities in Melbourne and Brisbane.

LGBT Pride Month every June is dedicated to the celebration and commemoration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) pride, observed in the Western world. Pride Month began after the Stonewall riots, a series of gay liberation protests in 1969 in the the United States of America and has since spread worldwide. Modern-day Pride Month both honors the movement for LGBT rights and celebrates LGBT culture.
