Saundh, a part of Surat, Gujarat based Sahiba Ltd has opened its 25th store at Bangalore’s Prestige Falcon Mall. The brand opened its first store in December 2019 at Mumbai and offers designer wear styles products for women ranging between Rs 3,500 to Rs 15,000.
The company has a pan-India presence across all top cities in India, where the market for women’s designer clothing is high such ad North & Western India. In the south, the brand has stores at Bangalore & Hyderabad currently. The product range of Saundh includes kurtis, form-flattering gowns, lehengas, and Indo-fusion sets. Deepa Saluja, who with her husband, Sabby, had launched Saundh in Delhi in Jan. 2020 told the media, “Whether you are a young college girl or a homemaker, an entrepreneur or a woman in her late 50s, you will definitely find something for your taste. The brand ethos resonates with every woman who is successful in her own right and comfortable in her own skin; rooted in her values and traditions but not stuck or stagnant. Saundh’s parent company Sahiba was established in 1983 and is among the top ethnicwear manufacturer in India and has the largest production capacity at its factory in Surat. The brand has been noticed by celebrities and they wear the product range for social events. Manik Batra, Sportswoman while receiving the BBC Indian Emerging Performer of the Year 2022 was seen sporting Saundh clothing.
