Global fashion retail chain H&M has opened an exclusive store to delight its ardent customers – the first ever home furnishing store in the city of Hyderabad.
The store will stock an exclusive range of home decor, furniture and furnishings, tableware, cookware, home improvement objects among a huge array of products.

H&M Home operates in 77 markets worldwide with 4,300+ stores, of which it has an e-commerce presence in 60 markets. Globally, there are 33 exclusive H&M Home stores and has a shop-in shop presence within 440 H&M stores.
The company entered India in 2015 and operates 62 stores across 30 cities in the country. Swedish chain H&M was founded in the year 1947 by Erling Persson.
H&M’s global revenues have remained flat since the Covid-19, with a reported turnover of USD 20 Bn in 2020, rising up to USD 22 Bn in 2023.



It’s revenue in India was around INR 3,000 Cr in 2023.
Home Stop, owned by the K Raheja Group, which also runs Shoppers Stop and Home Centre owned by the Dubai based Landmark Group which runs the Lifestyle department store chain are the key players offering home improvement products in India.
Fab-India too offers a large range of homeware, while TATA Trent owned Westside also offers a limited range.
