Spiritual products specialty retailer GIRI Trading hosts unique exhibition

GIRI Trading, India’s largest spiritual products retail chain is hosting an exhibition on the auspicious occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi. The unique exhibition is expected to entice spiritual seekers.

Saligrama stones are found on the riverbed of River Gandaki on the foothills of the Himalayas, and which is located at Nepal.

These stones are formed over millions of years, which were once upon a time, small pieces from specific trees. Various insects get in to these woods, pierce a small hole and leave a formation inside them.

Over the years, the wooden formations (fossils) turn hard and take the name of Saligrama. Each stone, based on the spiral formations inside the holes, take the name of an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

The event will take place daily from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Following this, the golden Srimad Bhagavatam will be permanently placed for public darshan at Mathura (Sri Krishna Janma Sthala) on January 25, 2025, marking another opportunity for devotees to witness this divine creation.
