The company operates over 260 stores across the 5 states in Southern India. In an integrated media campaign, the company plans to reach out to thousands of first-time customers.
Elaborating on the plans, S. Shriram, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Specsmakers said, “This is perhaps the first time that we are going full hog in attracting first time shoppers to experience our brand promises of affordability with high quality among others in the post-Covid world. We have served over 1 million customers in the past decade and a half who trust Specsmakers. Now, we are actively looking forward to adding the next 1 million Customers in the next 12-18 months”.
The company has launched its latest TVC which brings in the element of surprise and urgency to rush to a Specsmakers store near you with a mouth-watering offer of “Buy one pair and get One pair Free” even for the Progressive lenses. The offer stands good for Single Vision specs and Bi-focal as well.
“We have taken a 360* Marketing approach this time by including Television, Radio, Print, OOH, Digital Media, YouTube Marketing and CRM through direct SMS campaigns. We believe this integrated media mix will be a huge hit and will attract scores of first-time shoppers to try us out”, says Shriram.
“The company operates 108 stores in Chennai and 69 in Bangalore. So literally, every arterial road or street corner in both cities will have a store, thereby we become the only Optical Retail chain to be closest to customers”, signs off Shriram.
It is to be noted that the Invoice pertaining to purchase of Spectacles (read: Reading glasses) can also be utilized towards Medical claims across various corporates and companies as per existing policies.
