Shoppers Stop, India’s premier fashion and beauty omnichannel destination, has opened its first Home Stop store in Dehradun. The store, 10th one in the country, is located at Centrio Mall. The store aims to provide end-to end home decor solutions under one roof. The mall also houses India’s largest department store chain, Shoppers Stop.
The store features a carefully curated collection of furniture, bedding, bath and kitchen accessories, home decor items, and appliances that will give your home a refreshing touch of elegance and sophistication.
Mr Venu Nair, Customer Care Associate MD and CEO at Shoppers Stop said, “We are excited to bring our premium Home Stop format store to Dehradun, and we look forward to serving customers in the city and surrounding areas. We have curated the store’s product selection to cater to the tastes and preferences of our customers at reasonable prices, and we believe that the store’s opening will be a positive development for the city’s retail landscape.”

The HomeStop store in Dehradun will also house some of the most sought-after brands in the home decor and furnishing industry.
Noritake, Ellementry, Meyer, Spaces, Spread, Ddecor, Maspar, Obsessions, Corelle, Wonderchef, FnS, and Webber, to Tiger and Rosemoore are some of the top brands that will be available at the store.
Home Stop is a premium destination for home innovations offering an enormous variety of products across all categories in the home segment including home adornments, Bed and Bath, Furniture, Kitchen Appliances and Accessories, and Window Fashion amongst others.
Shoppers Stop Ltd. is the nation’s leading premier retailer of fashion and beauty brands established in 1991. The chain operates 98 department stores in 52 cities including at top airports.

Shoppers Shop Ltd reported a net loss of Rs 16 crore ($2.2 million) for the quarter ended March 2022, as against a net loss of Rs 24 crore it reported in the year-ago period. The company opened 24 stores during the Jan – Mar. ‘23 period.
It must be noted that Shoppers Stop had been slow in expanding this format for over 1.5 decades. However, with Home Town (similar format of Future Group) completely slowing down and Home Centre by Landmark Group scaling fast, the company is seeing a renewed opportunity in the format. Also, in the past few years, home furnishing and home improvement items have been among the top selling categories in the ecommerce portals such as Amazon and Flipkart.
