Shoppers Stop, India’s premier fashion and beauty destination has announced the opening of the exclusive SSBeauty store at Elante Mall, Chandigarh. The concept has been conceptualised by Shoppers Stop in collaboration with Estée Lauder Group, the world’s leading skincare, makeup and fragrance products company.
Spread across 1,200 sq.ft. the SSBeauty store is dedicated solely to Estée Lauder Group brands such MAC, Clinique, Tom Ford, Jo Malone & Kilian. The store launch was graced by actor, singer and model Himanshi Khurana.

The store offers a diverse range of services, including beauty masterclasses, make-over services, skincare consultations, fragrance discovery stations, gifting options and personalized services. The stores house the finest assortment of makeup, skincare & fragrance brands to cater to every consumer’s unique beauty needs.
Nykaa is currently the market leader in the fashion and beauty products space. Started as an online platform to provide accessibility and availability of various beauty products to consumers and currently operates over 140+ stores in India. For FY 22-23, Nykaa’s revenue from operations rose to Rs 5,144 crore from Rs 3,774 crore in FY 21-22, a jump of more than 36%. Beauty segment contributed 68% of the company’s total revenues.
Two decades back RPG Retail brand Health & Glow pioneered beauty products retail to consumers in India. After scaling up to over 50 stores, the company decided to consolidate and remains a niche player.
SSBeauty, however is expected to cater to the top-end of the consumer segment, as the store has an exclusive tie-up with the Estee Lauder Group. It must be noted that Shoppers Stop is well versed with beauty as a segment, since all of its department stores have a dedicated section within for the last 2 decades. Over the years, the company has obtained tremendous insights with regards to the beauty trends and shopping behaviour of consumers.
