VIP Frenchie X now available across Mumbai, Pune and Delhi

India’s leading innerwear brand VIP Clothing has launched its premium sub-brand ‘Frenchie X’ in India’s key markets. The brand will be available exclusive at 100+ touch points in across Pune, Mumbai and Delhi.

VIP Frenchie X was initially launched in Goa and has followed up with its retail distribution through multiple-brand outlets (MBOs).

Sunil Pathare, Chairman & Managing Director, VIP Clothing Limited, said, “Frenchie has been a trusted name in Indian innerwear for decades. With Frenchie X, we are taking comfort, style, and quality a step further.

After the successful rollout in Goa, we are excited to bring this upgraded range to Mumbai and Delhi, ensuring our customers can easily access premium everyday essentials.

This strategic expansion follows our commitment to enhance our physical presence in tandem with our digital footprint.”

VIP had recently launched Frenchie X across Quick Commerce channels such as Swiggy Instamart and Zepto.

With a legacy spanning over 40 years, VIP Clothing was among the first in India to market and sell branded innerwear for men. Over time, the company also expanded to innerwear for women and kids.

VIP Clothing has reported a 14% growth for the 9-month period upto Dec. 24 over the same period in 2023.

The revenue from operations has grown from INR 150 Cr to INR 171 Cr even as PAT has grown to INR 3 Cr from a loss of INR 5 Cr during the comparable period.

Incorporated in 1991, headquartered in Mumbai, VIP Clothing Ltd. (VIP) is engaged in the business of manufacturing, marketing and distribution of Men’s and Women’s innerwear and socks under the brand name VIP, Frenchie, Feelings and Leader.

The company employs over 200 sales and marketing professionals and is present in over 40,000 touch points through 475 distributors.
