Aditya Birla Retail’s ethnicwear brand Tasva has opened almost 44 stores in a span of 1 year, according to its Chief Operating Officer Dhruv Kaura. In a post on Linkedin on 31 Mar. ‘23, he thanked his colleagues while revealing the launch of the 50th store milestone achievement. On the last day of the financial year, the brand launched 5 stores in five different cities (Delhi, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Moradabad & Amravati).
Ace designer Tarun Tahiliani collaborated with Aditya Birla Retail in 2021 to expand his own line of branded stores as well as creating a trusted, ethnic wear brand. The world-acclaimed designer is known for his expertise at infusing Indian craftsmanship and textile heritage into a tailored silhouette, he brings his immense understanding of fit, fabric, fashion to the fore at Tasva. Tasva reflects his signature style, combining traditional aesthetics with modern design.

The timeless selection at Tasva offers Sherwanis, traditional Kurta-Jackets, Bundis, exquisite Indo-western, and complementing accessories for festivals, parties, and special moments like wedding.
The brand competes in the highly unorganised market for Indian ethnic wear for men which is estimated to be around 170,000 Cr pa. Other branded players in the fray include Manyavar and Avantara by Reliance Retail.
