A barricade indicating the upcoming Apple Store at Select City Walk Mall has been doing the rounds all over the internet. Yogesh Sharma, CEO – Select City Walk Mall has also shared the pic on his Linkedin post. This new store comes at the back of the recent teaser of Apple’s upcoming store at Mumbai’s Jio World Mall, BKC. Apple confimed on its newsroom page that the Mumbai store will open on 18 April and Delhi on 20 April.
Tim Cook, CEO, Apple Inc. is expected to launch both the new stores in the third week of April. These would be the first of the upcoming directly managed Apple Stores in India by Apple Inc. At the moment, authorised resellers such as UNI, iMagine, etc. run dedicated Apple brand stores while they also sell non-Apple accessories.

The facade of the Saket store has images which are inspired and remembrandt of the various gates and gateways built around the city of old Delhi by the former Indian Kings and Moghuls. The Apple logo also has various colours and motifs of the same design. The website of Apple India has a dedicated wallpaper with a similar design which can be used in various Apple devices. There is also a curated playlist which has the essence of Delhi, songs mostly from Hindi movies with a connect with the city. Click here to play it on your Apple device.

As reported earlier, Apple stores globally have certain common features and the same is expected in the two India stores as well. The store would have consumer benefits such as trade-in facility with older devices, assisted shopping with an Apple associate who is a specialist, pick the Apple product earlier ordered online and buy Apple Gift Cards.
Select City Walk Mall has set new benchmarks in premium retailing in India for the last 15 years. Many international brands have made their India debut at this location and Apple joins this illustrious list as well.
After the two openings at Mumbai and Delhi, Hyderbad and Bangalore are being readied for the next set of stores. These would come up in 2024. At Bangalore, an exhaustive store spread over 15,000 sq ft is being planned at the upcoming Phoenix Mall of Asia at Yelahanka.
