Gargi will also be coming up with exclusive offline stores in major cities across India.
Aditya Modak, Co-founder of Gargi by PNGS, said, “Gargi is a brand with a mission, and we have been getting a superb response from all quarters. Our transition into an omnichannel fashion jewelry brand through the establishment of physical retail had already started with our presence in stores in Mumbai (Malad – Inorbit Mall), Vashi, and Thane (Viviana Mall), and now this contract with Shoppers Stop witness Gargi’s presence at their outlets within the next 2-3 months”.
“To further expand the market coverage, we are open to collaborations with other brands and are in talks with several people to launch a franchise model. Our first exclusive brand store is being readied in Pune, and we are confident of launching it in the second half of 2023. Overall, we have continued with the dream run of 2022 and are confident of putting up an even better show this year.”
Named after the ancient Indian female scholar from the epic Ramayana, Gargi is also one of the names of Goddess Durga. Drawing from both, Gargi has created a diverse range that create an aura of the wearer being beautiful, honest, stylish, fearless, and scholarly.
Made of silver and brass, the “Kaleida” summer collection is highly creative and has delivered yet a style statement for the wearers. The new development continues Gargi’s plans to build a solid physical retail presence through diverse shop-in-shop, franchise-owned, and company-owned exclusive retail stores.
