Jahnvi Kapoor + Nykaa

Nykaa has announced that Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is now also the face of Nykaa Naturals Hair! Jahnvi is the daughter of actress Late Sridevi and Producer Boney Kapoor. The company believes that Jahnvi is well placed to understand the focus on Indian hair conditions.

Nykaa Naturals Hair is a range of effective hair care products, packed with nature-derived, multi-beneficial ingredients that are curated specially for Indian hair.

The products are designed to effectively address common concerns specific to Indian hair, triggered by external conditions such as hard water, pollution, humidity, UV damage, dust, and dirt.

At the core of these are traditional hair-loving ingredients like – Apple Cider Vinegar, Ginger, Fenugreek, Onion, Amla, Curry leaves, Fermented Rice Water, Charcoal, and Shikakai, etc. all of which are complete superfoods for hair.

Janhvi Kapoor said on this association, “I have been a firm believer in the benefits of using natural ingredients on the body, be it the face or hair because I have seen it practiced at home since childhood. For FY 22-23, Nykaa reported revenues of Rs. 5,144 Cr, a jump of 36% over the previous year. Net Profit, however dropped 53% to Rs. 19.26 during the financial year, compared to the previous year. The company said it had 1 crore annual unique transacting customers in the beauty and personal care segment while it was 24 lakh for the fashion segment. Nykaa went public in 2021 after raising Rs. 1,600 Cr USD (214 mn) over 15 rounds. The company raised Rs. 5,350 Cr in its IPO.
