Bisleri International, India’s leading packaged drinking water brand has tied up with Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming “Jawan”, the first pan-India movie tie-up for the company. The co-branded limited edition bottles will feature the film’s protoganist Shah Rukh Khan, the lead actress Nayanthara and the antagonist, Vijay Sethupathi on its wrappers.

After the major success of the limited-edition partnerships with blockbuster movies in South India, Bisleri has now forged its first and largest-ever Pan-India association with the much-awaited film of the year, ‘Jawan.’
In the past, the company had similar collaborations with Kamal Hassan’s Vikram, Director Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus PS-1 and Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Godfather. The water bottles with wrappers bearing their favourite stars was an instant hit among the actors’ fan base. This could be the reason why Bisleri has taken this pan-Indian approach, given that Shah Rukh is among the handful of Indian movie stars who has a popularity and fan love across the length & breath of the country.
The limited-edition bottles will be available in 250ML, 500ML, 1 Litre, 2 Litres, and 5 Litres SKUs. The distribution reach is expected to be around 70,000 points of sale, which includes general and modern trade stores, such as kirana shops, supermarkets dotting the urban and rural neigbourhoods, points of transit such as at airports, highways, bus terminals as well as online portals – almost every touch point from where consumers buy bottled water. It will also be available online through the company’s Bisleri @Doorstep App.Fans of actors and sportstars buy these limited edition water bottles when the supposed event is on a high and then the enthusiasm tapers down over a few weeks, usually. According to reports on the internet, Jawan has sold over 13.50 lakh tickets (1.35 million) even ahead of the movie’s release that is slated for 7 Sep. ’23, which is the highest ever in Indian film industry’s history.

Directed by Atlee, popular for his tamil films feat. Actor Vijay, “Jawan” is produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film will release worldwide in theatres on 7th Sep. ‘ 23, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages and is expected to garner lakhs of audiences to theatres. Gadar-2 feat. Sunny Deol and Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer which released ahead of the Independence Day weekend, have seen record collections at the Box Office.
