In 2022, the Smart TV market size in India was estimated to be Rs. 80,000 Cr (USD 9.88 Bn). Over 200 mn TV units were sold in the country in 2022, of which only 12% are supposedly Smart TVs. Xiaomi led the overall smart TV market with an estimated 11% share followed by Samsung and LG. TVs priced between Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 30,000 were the most preferred by Indian consumers.
