Ramraj Cotton, the pioneer in the retailing of “ Traditional Dhotis” for men, has opened its 250th exclusive store at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The store was inaugurated by Telugu Superstar Venkatesh Daggubati in the presence of the company’s Founder and Chairman KR Nagarajan. The company has created a not just a brand, but an entire industry along the lines of retailing the humble dhotis, which was the attire of the likes of Mahatma Gandhi, C. Rajagopalachari, Sardar Vallabhai Patel. K. Kamaraj and many tall leaders.
The company began its journey 4 decades back and hence grown from strength to strength over the years. Through 15,000 multi-brand outlets where its products are sold, the company has created a niche following spanning across age groups and generations.
