The Ayurveda Company (TAC), a leading omnichannel Ayurvedic lifestyle brand has launched its first standalone store at Phoenix Citadel Mall, Indore.

The new store presents an opportunity for customers to engage directly with the brand’s wide range of ayurveda-backed skincare and beauty products. The store showcases a wide array of products, totalling over 150 SKUs (Stock Keeping Units), thoughtfully spread across various categories.

These categories span shampoos, conditioners, skincare, face care, sunscreens, face oils, face packs, lip care, lip serums, and multi-purpose lip, cheek, and eye tints.

Shreedha Singh, Founder, The Ayurveda Company, said, “We are thrilled to open our first standalone store in Indore, a city where the demand for Ayurveda-backed personal care products is steadily increasing. The new store will bring the essence of Ayurveda-backed beauty and wellness closer to our customers.”

“We firmly believe in the power of personal interactions. We are committed to providing a unique blend of in-store and digital experiences where customers can discover the true beauty of Ayurveda with the aid of cutting-edge technology”, she added.

With the successful launch of the store, the company is all set to expand its offline presence in tier-2 and tier-3 cities like Nagpur, Jaipur and Varanasi. It targets opening 50 stores by the end of this financial year.

The Ayurveda Co was founded in 2021 by Shreedha Singh and Param Bhargava. The company had raised INR 100 crore in Mar. ‘23 in Series A funding round for expanding offline presence, improving product manufacturing, expanding research and development and accelerating digital awareness around the company.

The funding round was led by venture capital fund Sixth Sense Ventures. The round also saw participation from actress Kajal Agarwal, a few notable startup founders.

The company claims to have grown over 300% over the past 10 months, driven by a portfolio of 100 unique products backed by an omnichannel distributor network across over 20 exclusive brand outlets and over 5,000 retail touch points.
