The new Terminal 2 at Bengaluru’s Kempagowda International Airport has been the talking point for over six months now. The airport, which moved international operations completely in September. ‘23 to the new terminal, has been receiving rave reviews and appreciation from air travellers, stakeholders as well as pilots and the crew members.
Last week, Jamie Oliver Restaurants, the Indian arm of the international restaurant business of renowned UK-based chef, restaurateur, TV personality, cookbook author, and campaigner Jamie Oliver commenced operations at Bengaluru International Airport.
Jasper Reid, MD, Dolomite Restaurants wrote on his Linkedin post, “Another important milestone for Jamie Oliver Restaurants India with the opening of our first airport restaurant, Jamie’s Pizzeria, at Bangalore Kempegowda International. Very exciting and many congratulations to our partner Travel Food Services and SSP Limited 🎉”
He continued, “And our pizzeria is breaking records – highest sales in our history in week one and on a roll. Thousands of happy customers enjoying handmade, real food with zero junk, carefully sourced. No more grabbing some highly processed, pre-made monstrosity as you wait for your flight. And no need to worry about the state of your in-flight meal!
Travel Food Services is the key F&B concessionaire at Bangalore International Airport for the new Terminal since earlier this year while global airport F&B specialist chain and incumbent HMSHost manages most parts of the Terminal 1, ever since it came in to being way back in 2008.
