MUJI, the globally acclaimed Japanese brand has opened its flagship store in India. The newest store is located at the newly inaugurated Jio World Plaza Mall in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. MUJI has an existing partnership with Reliance Brands Limited (RBL).
Spread over 12,000 sq. ft., this is MUJI’s largest retail outlet in India.
MUJI an abbreviation for Mujirushi Ryohin – Japanese for ‘no-brand quality products’. With its journey beginning in 1980, the company operates over 1,000 stores in 32 markets around the world.

The company operates 10 IDEE stores and 29 Cafe & Meal stores. The company has 325 stores in China followed by 58 in Taiwan, 40 in South Korea, 25 in Thailand, 19 in Hong Kong and 3 in India.
Visitors to the Jio World Plaza MUJI store can find a wide selection of product segments for a household, such as furniture, beddings, storage & apparel that align with MUJI’s core values.

The store will also be home to the first MUJI Café in India.
