Evan as Quick Commerce is gaining strength month after month creating new Unicorns and large E-Commerce companies branding out to delivering in “minutes”, Tier 1 India remains undisturbed with newer entrants coming over to open large Hypermarkets.

Latur, Maharashtra will now witness the radiant COCO Supermarket spread over 10,200 sqft. The mega store has been conceptualised and established by the Kayamkhani Group.

Known for their diverse business ventures in Latur, the group has set a high standard with this latest addition.

Umar Kayamkhani, a gold medalist in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from Woxen University, has infused his expertise and international standards into every corner of the store.

Spanning over two levels, Coco Supermart offers a wide range of categories, with a special focus on food, creating a shopping environment that feels like stepping into a store overseas.

A significant part of this project’s success is attributed to Wanzl India’s critical involvement in the design of the store, fixtures selection and execution.

This collaboration has transformed the store into one of the most visually appealing and functionally superior shopping destinations in Maharashtra.

Sandip Pawar, Sales Director, Wanzl India shared on his Linkedin post, “Our team was responsible for the entire store setup, from innovative design concepts to the installation of high-quality shop fittings, all tailored to create an inviting and efficient shopping environment.

Come see for yourself why Coco Supermart is considered as the best in Maharashtra and learn how investing in high-quality fixtures can make a difference in your business or shopping experience”.

Sandeep also shared his special thanks to Mohit Ahuja, General Manager, Wanzl Middle East and the Wanzl Middle East team, whose support and expertise were invaluable in bringing this project to fruition.

Sandip thanked innovative ideas and attention to detail have significantly enhanced the aesthetic and functionality of Coco Supermart.

“Thanks to the Mr. Umar Kayamkhani for entrusting Wanzl India with this prestigious project. We look forward to continuing our partnership and setting new standards in the retail industry”, added Sandip.

Editor’s Note

The shopping and consumption patterns vary largely from top metro cities and Tier 2/3 towns. Even there, the shopping habits are quite different across the four zones of India.

Tier 2 / 3 markets seem to be unperturbed as yet by the noise made by Quick Commerce companies such as Zepto, Blinkit by Zomato and Instamart by Swiggy.

Ahead of Deepavali 2024, Blinkit had launched its operations across several small towns and seems to have tasted early victory. However, large format stores in FMCG, apparel and electronics are finding the going tough due to intense heat created by Q Comm companies.
