American fashion apparel and premium denim brand True Religion has entered with its flagship store at New Delhi. The 1,100 sq ft store has come up at the Ambience Mall, famous for its world class offering of brands.
Jeans brand True Religion was acquired by private equity firm Acon Investments and American Eagle-linked firm SB360 Capital Partners – a retail investment fund chaired by the retailer’s CEO, Jay Schottenstein in 2024.

The inauguration was graced by electronics brand bOAt Founder and Shark Tank judge Aman Gupta.

Once positioned as a premium brand famous for its unique horseshoe logo, fancy stitching and high end denim, True Religion, an American clothing company was founded in 2002 by Jeff Lubell and Kym Gold.
The brand filed for bankruptcy in 2017 and again in 2020.

The company was acquired by the PE Fund and under its new leadership, the brand has turned around its fortunes backed with a market defining strategy.
The brand plans to open 10 new stores in India in the upcoming 18 months. The company is said to have over INR 2,500 Cr (USD 300 Mn) in global revenues annually.
