Hamdard Foods, the makers of the iconic RoohAfza is a name to reckon, with a history spanning over 120 years. The company has launched three new ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages this summer, to satiate the needs of those who are always on the move.

The three new beverages include Hamdard ElectrORS Electrolyte Drink, Hamdard Asli Milkshakes, and Hamdard Refresh Nariyal Paani.

Manufactured at Hamdard’s state-of-the-art aseptic packaging facility in Aurangabad, these new beverages reinforce the brand’s commitment to high quality, great taste, and consumer well-being.

Hamid Ahmed, CEO of Hamdard Foods India, said:
“We are thrilled to expand our beverage portfolio with products that align with the needs of today’s consumers.

Whether it’s replenishing electrolytes, enjoying delicious milkshake flavours, or staying hydrated with coconut water, these new launches reflect our commitment to innovation and quality.

We believe these beverages will offer a refreshing and wholesome experience for consumers across all age groups.”

In recent years, Hamdard has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of new products, including Milkshakes, Lassi, Fruit Juices, Glucose, RoohAfza Lite (No Added Sugar) variants, Coconut Water, and Glucose Beverages.

Hamdard has also entered the food category by launching a range of spices (Hamdard Khaalis), Saffron, Hing, edible oils (Olive Pomace Oil, Kachi Ghani Mustard Oil), Honey, Soya Chunks, Vermicelli, and more.

Editor’s Note

The health beverages market in India is estimated to be INR 82,000 Cr (USD 10 Bn) and is expected to treble by 2030.

The RTD market for health beverages is significantly smaller at INR INR 500 cr (USD 16 Mn) but is fast growing with reputed players such as Hamdard entering the market.

Hamdard ElectrORS Electrolyte Drink, Hamdard Asli Milkshakes, and Hamdard Refresh Nariyal Paani are available across India at general and modern retail stores, online e-commerce portals, and on the company’s D2C platform.
