If it’s a flagship store, then is should be at Bengaluru. And what better address than HSR Layout, the hub of branded retail shopping in India’s silicon valley.

TechnoSport, a leading name in the performance driven activewear segment has launched its first flagship store at the 27th Main, HSR Layout in Bangalore.

Spread over 1,650 sq ft., the store offers an enhanced shopping experience spread over two floors and promises an immersive experience for active lifestyle enthusiasts.

Sunil Jhunjhunwala, Co-founder & Managing Director of TechnoSport said, “The launch of our HSR Flagship store is a pivotal moment in our strategic expansion, allowing us to bring the TechnoSport experience directly to our Bangalore customers.

The modular design of this store allows us to replicate this experience quickly, a critical advantage as we accelerate our expansion plans.”

Puspen Maity, CEO of TechnoSport, added, “A store presence in key locations such as HSR layout significantly amplifies our brand resonance. Being in a competitive high-street location allows us to remain agile, refine our store models, and confidently scale into new markets.

We’re confident this store will become a hub for fitness enthusiasts in Bangalore to discover the latest in activewear technology and design.”

The store offers top selling products including its innovative Cotflex collection.

Customers can also explore activewear designed for all seasons, particularly the warmer months, with breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics that ensure optimal performance.

Editor’s Note

While several brands wish to open their flagship stores in Bangalore, the city’s retail real estate has only become more and more expensive and unaffordable due to intense demand for high quality spaces.

Several top international brands and well-fed Indian startups are lapping up key retail spaces by paying a significant premium, only to move to other locations after the initial euphoria is down.

On the other hand, activewear as a category is among the fastest growing in the apparel segment. From daily walks to regular exercises and specific sporting activities, activewear has gained significant popularity, especially after Covid-19.

While Jockey leads the pack with the largest market share by value in the organised segment, there are 100s of unknown brands that are available on e-commerce platforms offering a wide range at affordable prices.
