Chennai–based traditional wear brand Minister White, has opened its newest Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) in the textile city of Karur.
The 52nd store for the brand is located at Jawahar Bazar, Karur, right in the heart of the bustling commercial hub known for its handlooms, home textiles, and thriving retail culture.

Speaking on the launch, Thiru. S. Pothiraj, Managing Director & CEO, Otto Clothing Pvt. Ltd. (OCPL), said, “Karur is widely known as a powerhouse of textiles, and the people here have a deep affinity for fabrics, weaves, and traditional clothing.
The city has a unique blend of retail shoppers—business communities, farming households, and a growing young population—who proudly wear dhotis and shirts for both daily life and celebrations.

Minister White owned by the eponymous POTHYS group from Tamil Nadu is planning to expand to 100 EBOs by FY 26–27.
The brand is also present at over 5,000+ Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs) nationwide and employs more than 1,000 people.
The company is planning to deepen its presence in North India, and explore overseas markets including the USA, UK, Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
