India’s fastest growing apparel fashion branch SNITCH has announced the opening of its newest store in the heart of South Bombay. The 79th store for the brand has come up at Colaba.

Siddharth Dungarwal, Founder of Snitch said “ In the heart of Colaba where history whispers through every wall we’re opening doors to something truly special.

The SNITCH 2.0 Store isn’t just another retail space. It’s a heritage property reborn a classic European soul, carefully crafted with the warmth of Indian spirit” on his Linnkedin post.

The Bangalore-based brand was founded in 2019 by Siddharth as a B2B menswear brand. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the company took the Direct to Consumer (D2C) route.

Focussed on the Millennials, the brand offers men’s shirts, T-shirts, trousers, jeans, shorts, co-ords, boxers etc.

The brand is valued at INR 2,500 Cr., with its recent funding round of INR 340 Cr. Over all, the brand has raised over INR 450 Cr till date.

The brand reported annual revenues of INR 520 Cr, over times during the previous year with an EBITDA of INR 30 Cr, a 5x growth over the previous year.

From the current 79 operating stores, the brand aims to reach the 100-store count during this fiscal with an aggressive revenue target of INR 1,000 Cr by 2027.

Editor’s Note

Among the several D2C brands that have come up in India over thee last decade, Snitch has really stood out for what it offers.

The omni-channel model undertaken by the brand from the beginning, thanks to its D2C routes has been a great turning point.

Data-driven promotion cycles, similar to the ones undertaken globally by Zara, H&M among others has innovate helped the plan to stock the right inventory.

Lastly, the brand identified market gaps and utilised them to its advantage. For example, the Indian market was seeking colourful and twenty attire for the experimental, fast-fashion seeking men.

The company’s co-ord sets and modern silhouettes have particularly become extremely popular.
