During 1988, Timex Group entered India in joint venture with Jayna Times, followed by a JV with Titan in 1990. In 1994, the company listed on Bombay stock Exchange (BSE) and ever since, has built its India business slowly but steadily.
FY 25-26 has been a landmark year for Timex Group India, a year defined by accelerated growth, stronger profitability, and deeper consumer relevance across the portfolio.

With total revenue reaching INR 800 Crores, up 48% over last year, the business continued its strong upward trajectory driven by premiumisation, design-led innovation, channel expansion, and manufacturing scale-up.
Timex India has grown its revenue from INR 265 Cr to INR 800 Cr, delivering a robust 32% CAGR over the last four years.

During FY 26, EBITDA grew 134% to INR 116 Cr, while PAT grew 151% to INR 107.4 Cr.

Between the organized and unorganized retail sectors, Indians buy 40-45 mn traditional watches annually.
The mass market, also known as the budget tier contributes to over 75% of all watches sold, with a price band of INR 1,000 – 3,000.

This is followed by the mid-range, known as bridge to luxury with prices ranging from INR 5,000 – INR 50,000, contributing 25% of all watches that are sold in India.
The premium and luxury watches, ranging from INR 50.000 to INR 500,000 and above, are a fast growing market, with a 5% share currently.
