Fabletics launches in India with Reliance Brands, opening first at DLF Promenade, New Delhi, in a sportswear market worth about USD 10 billion.
India’s sportswear market is estimated at about USD 10 billion in 2026, growing roughly 10 per cent annually as fitness and fashion merge.
Into this arena steps Fabletics, the American activewear brand, launching through an exclusive long-term partnership with Reliance Brands Limited, the premium arm of Reliance Retail.
The debut pairs a dedicated India website with a first mono-brand store at DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, with Mumbai announced next.

Its range covers women’s and men’s activewear for training, running, yoga, Pilates and everyday movement, blending performance, style and value.
Nike, Adidas and Puma anchor the premium end, while Decathlon, HRX, Cultsport and Campus Activewear serve homegrown, gym-going and value-seeking consumers across price points.
Fellow entrants are queuing too: lululemon has announced a Tata CLiQ partnership, while Vuori, Alo Yoga, Athleta and Gymshark are reportedly studying India closely.

Fabletics arrives with momentum, having crossed USD 1 billion in annual revenue for the first time last year and growing over 20 per cent in 2026.
It plans around 20 international stores within twelve months, and Reliance Brands recently signed Skims too, building a confident global-brand portfolio for India.
Challenges remain: Indian shoppers are price-sensitive, want fit certainty before buying, and may need convincing about the membership model Fabletics is known for in America.

Yet with Reliance’s reach, a fashion-forward proposition and a generation embracing movement daily, Fabletics has every chance to become India’s favourite everyday activewear label.
Editor’s Note
Indian activewear is quietly changing address, moving from the gym bag to the everyday wardrobe, and the winners will be brands that treat style as seriously as performance.
That is a genuine whitespace for women-first, fashion-led labels, and Reliance Brands is curating exactly such global names under one roof.

Localising fit, pricing and membership with patience will decide the pace, because Indian shoppers love to try before they commit.
Get that right, and Indian women could power the next big wave of activewear, with Fabletics riding it confidently into a very bright decade.
