There are an estimated 80,000 eyewear showrooms across India. Titan Eye is India’s largest offline retail chain followed by Lenskart.

Lenskart was founded as an online first retail platform in 2010 by Peyush Bansal, Amit Chaudhary and Sumeet Kapahi. Ever since, the company has raised over INR 9,000 Cr (USD 1.08 Bn) and is currently valued at INR 41,000 Cr (USD 5 Bn).

The company reported revenues of INR 5,610 Cr for FY 24, up from INR 3,928 in the previous year.
