Nebula by Titan opens its first exclusive boutique in Khar, Mumbai, as Titan's watches income rises 27% to INR 1,881 crore in Q2 FY27.

Nebula by Titan has opened its first exclusive standalone boutique in Khar, Mumbai. The roughly 2,000 sq ft space is devoted entirely to the brand’s 18K gold timepieces.

India’s luxury watch market was valued at about USD 2 billion in 2025. Swiss watch imports rose nearly 37% in the first half of 2026, as premium buyers trade up.

Rolex, Swatch Group and Richemont lead this space.

Titan is the Indian challenger, building luxury credentials through Nebula, Helios Luxe and the JALSA tourbillon.

Nebula’s solid 18K gold watches start at INR 45,000. The limited-edition JALSA flying tourbillon, made in only 10 pieces, is priced at INR 40.5 lakh.

Titan’s watches business delivered one of its strongest quarters in Q2 FY27. Total income rose 27% to INR 1,881 crore, while EBIT jumped 73% to INR 412 crore.

The EBIT margin expanded to 22% from 16% a year ago. Analog watches grew in the low thirties, and the business added 34 net stores, including six Helios Luxe and one Nebula.

Smartwatches returned to growth in high single digits.

Challenges remain, as lower import duties under the EU trade pact will sharpen Swiss competition.

The Khar boutique answers with unhurried, personalised discovery.

Indigo interiors, antique gold accents and gold leaf detailing set the stage, inaugurated by Karan Johar and Karisma Kapoor.

Editor’s Note

Margins tell the real story.

A 22% EBIT margin means premium watches now fund Titan’s luxury ambitions from within, without compromising on craft or experience.

Nebula’s range, from an accessible entry point to a collector’s tourbillon, gives Khar a ladder of aspiration. Specialists can welcome first-time buyers and connoisseurs under one roof.

Expect Nebula to follow India’s wealth corridors, one considered boutique at a time. With premiumisation accelerating, a homegrown name can earn the confidence that Indian luxury buyers increasingly show.
