India’s largest omni-channel gifting platform Ferns N Petals has launched a first of its kind subscription service. This will provide its customers the convenience of regular deliveries of their favourite items.

FNP has launched its newest COCO – Company Owned and Company Operated Store at Gurugram. The store, open from 8am until 11pm will offer a seamless experience for walk-in customers as well as service online orders arising through its website as well as partners such as Zomato and Swiggy.

As across many of its stores in the country, the new store will feature a wide range of imported flowers, premium plants such as bonsai and orchids, handcrafted items, a unique collection of personalised gifts and gourmet cakes.

Anil Sharma, COO Retail & Franchise at FNP, stated,“The COCO store embodies our commitment todelivering convenience and a delightful consumerexperience to our customers, whether they prefer toshop in person or online.

Our hybrid model, combining a retail showroom with integrated quick commerce operations, allows us to provide an exceptional and uplifting consumer experience.

Opening in such a premium and convenient location will meet the high demand for our store, elevating customer’s experience with FNP”.

The estimated size of the e-commerce gifting and flowers market in India is said to be INR 5,000 Cr (USD 660 Mn).

FNP, formerly known popularly as Ferns N Petals operates over 400 stores across 125 cities in India and in countries such as the UAE, Qatar and Singapore, mostly on the franchise format.

While orders are routed through its website as well as third party websites and apps, the deliveries are done in a hyperlocal fashion from the outlet nearest to the place of delivery.

Started in 1994, the company reported a revenue of over INR 600 Cr and INR 109 Cr as loss for FY 23. For the previous financial year FY 22-23, the company had posted a profit of INR 10 Cr on a revenue of INR 579 Cr.

The company received a funding of INR 200 Cr (USD 27 Mn) from Lighthouse India Fund III in Mar. ‘22.
