International performance footwear brand Sketchers has announced the opening of its sixth store in Kerala. The third store in the city of Kozhikode (Calicut) has come up at the newly launched Lulu International Shopping Mall.
The company also launched “Community Goal Challenge”, it’s 8th such initiative in India where customers along with Malayalam Actress Malavika Mohanan ran 1,000 kms at the store.
The interactive event fostered a community spirit with several shoppers taking part in the challenge and the actress completing the last kilometre.

Skechers donated 100 pairs of footwear to PT Usha Foundation, an organisation that aims to nurture talent to achieve excellence across any field of athletics.

Seeing the enthusiasm and determination of young athletes was truly inspiring. Fitness has always been an important part of my life—it’s about feeling good, staying strong, and enjoying the process.

The 1,500 sq ft store will feature the brand’s latest collections as well as features a dedicated Skechers Performance focal walls and comfort technologies for every age and activity, including, sport, fashion, work, casual and children’s styles.
