One of India’s largest fashion apparel brands Cantabil has opened its 600th store in the country. The newest store has come up at none other than in Jammu & Kashmir!

The sprawling 3,000 sq ft store is located at Baramulla, a tourist city known for its scenic, snow-clad mountains and also acts as a gateway to the J&K Valley.

Deepak Bansal, Director of Cantabil Retail India Ltd., said, “Reaching the 600-store milestone is a testament to our dedication, resilience, and the trust our customers have placed in us.

What began as a menswear-focussed business, now caters to women and kids’ apparel, alongside accessories such as perfumes, footwear and athleisure.

For FY 24-25, Cantabil reported revenues of INR 721 Cr, up 17% over the same period last year and a Net Profit of INR 75 Cr., up 20% over FY 23-24.

Cantabil competes in the affordable fashion segment, primarily focussing on the youth segment in Tier 2/3/4 cities.
Other brands in this space include Oxemberg, a part of the Siyaram Group which reported revenues of INR 2,200 Cr and Killer, part of the Kewal Kiran Group, which reported revenues of INR 1,000 Cr and Killer- for FY 24-25.

Chennai-based OTTO Clothing, a part of the eponymous Pothys Group is said to have annual revenues of INR 500 Cr.
