“I am happy announce that we have launched Premium and exotic variants of Ice Cream under Milky Mist Brand on the occasion of Tamil New Year coinciding with Vishu, Baisakhi n Bihu”, he said. “The state of the art automatic plant has the capacity of 200,000 litres ice cream per day of hundreds of different variants”, he added.
According to his note, Tetra Pak has designed and commissioned the state of the art processing plant. The packing lines for the entire ice-cream category has been built and installed by ICE Group, Poland.
Ice cream is new product category for Milky Mist which is most popular for its paneer varieties. In fact, after Amul, it was Milky Mist which launched the category in a big way in Tamil Nadu and took it to the masses. Paneer, a traditional north Indian ingredient for starters and main course food items, has now become part of the mainstream south Indian fare. Instead of talking the product benefits, the company, during its initial days promoted the health benefits of paneer.
From classic flavours like vanilla and chocolate to exotic ones, the new ice-cream range has something for everyone.
