The new Terminal 2 at Bengaluru International Airport has been making waves ever since its inauguration in Nov. 2022 by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. Apart from its fantastic architecture, spacious design elements and many category first innovations, the new precinct has been garnering applauds from passengers and visitors alike.
The latest launch at T2 is the inauguration of globally renowned US-based restaurant chain Wolfgang Puck Kitchen + Bar. HMSHost, the international airport operator chain will run this restaurant. The company entered India in 2007 by winning the airport concessions at Bangalore and Hyderbad, followed by Delhi and Mumbai Airports. In 2022, it won the F&B concessions to operate at the new Terminal 2.
The inauguration was graced by Klaus Puck, President COO -WGP Worldwide (brother of Wolfgang Puck) Vince Modica, Executive Vice President Worldwide, supported by Jake Hall, Regional Operations Manager and Chef Ben Miles, Director of Culinary. Hari Marar, Managing Director of Bangalore International Airport (BIAL) cut the ribbon along with the officials of the restaurant company & HMSHost.
